My wonderful editor let me know we got another starred review - this time in Publishers Weekly. Very exciting. Also, my first official book event for CLIMBING THE STAIRS (2nd overall if you count the pre-release event at SCBWI in April), went off beautifully. The wonderful bookstore owner had arranged for Indian food and I signed enough books that my shoulders and arms hurt. So in preparation for the event tomorrow I'm taking along my wrist splints...Today, a lovely bright day, I will walk to the library to read Little Willow's most recently recommended book...
